6 FUN FACTS ABOUT KELSEYS ORIGINAL ROADHOUSE

Many know Kelseys as Canada’s original roadhouse – a place where you can eat what you want to eat, drink what you want to drink, and be who you want to be. There might be some other facts you didn’t know about them, though! Take a roadtrip through this post to learn more.

  1. Kelseys was founded by three Canadian brothers who loved travelling south of the border. Trips to the U.S. inspired them to envision a new restaurant concept of their own, with roadhouse dishes not yet available in Canada like New York-style wings and potato skins.

  2. The name Kelseys is an homage to our founders’ favourite Chicago restaurant, which was on Kelseys Road.

  3. The TV show Cheers was a big inspiration to our brand. In fact, it was our theme song until 2008! Kelseys restaurants had a similar feel to the bar in the show.

  4. Our Four Cheese Spinach Dip is a fan favourite – even Justin Bieber tweeted about it once. Dip, dip, hooray to that!

  5. The Roadhouse Caesar is Kelseys’ top cocktail, serving over 160,000 Caesars across the brand annually!

  6. Route 78 is our exclusive on-tap hard soda, available at all Kelseys across Ontario.
